The Disability Specialist of the Willow Creek area assists residents -- with physical and mental conditions that limit their ability to work -- to achieve self reliance by accessing state, federal, and community services. These benefits include SSI (Supplemental Security Income), SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance), Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Medicaid, Food Stamp ABAWD Exemption, and subsidized HUD housing. For assistance, Church members contact their Bishop or the Disability Specialist listed under "Other Callings" in the Willow Creek Stake Directory. As defined by the ADA, disability means with respect to the individual-
(A) a physical or mental impairment that substantially one or more major life activity of such individual;
(B) a record of such impairment;
(C) being regarded as having such an impairment (for Social Security Disability, employment, or education purposes).
